The Story Behind RockBottom
My name is Nick Borovsky, owner and operator of RockBottom Excavation and Construction Ltd., based in St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia.
My passion for heavy equipment began when I was just five years old, when I first started operating machinery and dreaming of one day owning an excavation company. I went to trade school and became a Red Seal plumber, gaining practical experience in underground services, drainage, and construction before returning to that childhood dream and starting RockBottom.
Today, I help homeowners and contractors with excavation, driveways, drainage improvements, land clearing, and site preparation. As a local, hands-on owner, I bring my trades knowledge and lifelong passion for equipment to every project, with a commitment to practical solutions, honest communication, and careful work that respects your property.
