Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026 • RockBottom Excavation & Construction Ltd.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the RockBottom Excavation & Construction Ltd. website and describe how we approach service descriptions, estimates, scheduling, pricing, and site access. They do not replace the written agreement that governs any specific project. Some provisions are noted for review and should be confirmed with the business owner or a qualified professional before launch.

01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website of RockBottom Excavation & Construction Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website. These terms apply to all visitors, regardless of whether you submit a project inquiry.

02

Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. In particular:

  • You will provide accurate, truthful information when submitting an estimate request or contacting us.
  • You will not attempt to disrupt, overload, or misuse the website or any form on it.
  • You will not use the website to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent inquiries.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.

03

Service Descriptions and Estimates

The service descriptions on this website are provided as general information about the types of work RockBottom offers, including excavation, gravel driveways, drainage solutions, land clearing, grading, and site preparation. They are not a complete list of available work and do not represent a guarantee that any particular service is available or suitable for your property.

Any estimate, price, or scope discussed through this website, by phone, or by email is preliminary and provided for planning purposes only. A final estimate depends on an on-site inspection and on conditions such as soil, bedrock depth, slope, access, existing utilities, and material requirements. No estimate is binding until confirmed in a written agreement between you and RockBottom.

We do not publish fixed prices, and we do not guarantee a particular cost until the scope and site conditions have been reviewed.

04

Project Scheduling and Site Conditions

Scheduling is subject to equipment availability, weather, and other active projects. We do not guarantee a specific start or completion date until a project is confirmed and the work is scheduled.

Site conditions can significantly affect the work. Factors such as bedrock, groundwater, unstable soil, slope, restricted access, buried debris, and weather may change the scope, methods, or cost of a project. If conditions differ from what was discussed or observed, we will communicate the impact and discuss options with you before proceeding with additional work.

05

Picing, Payments, and Additional Work

Pricing depends on the agreed scope of work, materials, access, equipment required, and site conditions. A confirmed estimate reflects the scope discussed at the time of agreement; work requested beyond that scope may result in additional charges, which will be communicated before the additional work is carried out wherever possible.

Specific payment terms — including deposits, milestones, and final payment — are set in the written agreement for each project, not on this website.

Review note: confirm the exact payment schedule, deposit requirements, and accepted payment methods with the business owner before publishing, and include them in project agreements rather than on this page.

06

Customer Responsibilities and Property Access

To help the work proceed safely and efficiently, customers are responsible for:

  • Providing safe, reasonable access to the work area for equipment and personnel.
  • Arranging or confirming public utility locates before excavation begins, and identifying any known private lines (such as private electrical, irrigation, invisible fencing, or septic components).
  • Securing pets and clearing the immediate work area of vehicles, furniture, and movable obstacles.
  • Confirming any permits, approvals, or property-line information required for the project, and clarifying whether RockBottom or the property owner is responsible for obtaining them.

RockBottom performs excavation, grading, drainage, and site preparation work. It does not represent that it performs licensed electrical, plumbing, engineering, or septic-system design work unless separately confirmed in writing.

07

Cancellations and Changes

If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please provide as much notice as possible. Changes to the agreed scope may affect the schedule and cost, and we will discuss those impacts with you before proceeding.

Review note: confirm any cancellation notice requirements or applicable charges with the business owner, and reflect them in project agreements rather than publishing unconfirmed terms here.

08

Website Content and Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including the RockBottom name, logo and emblem, equipment and project photography, written copy, page layouts, and design elements — is the property of RockBottom Excavation & Construction Ltd. or is used with permission. You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or otherwise use the website’s content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

09

Limitation of Liability

This website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

The actual services provided by RockBottom are governed by the written agreement for each project, not by these Terms & Conditions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, RockBottom’s liability arising from use of this website is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Review note: have a qualified professional confirm the scope of any liability limitation and ensure it complies with applicable Canadian consumer and contract law before launch.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were most recently revised. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
